TGIF | End of Feb

Today's highlight of the day was none other than...

I had a special date with my childhood babe, R, at a new place where neither of us have been there. By looking at the Google Map, it seemed far away (est. 10-minute walk from Farrer Park station) and being an ultra newbie, that area was a total alien to us! We made a big round, only to realize that it was THAT near us. Less than a 10-minute walk I would say!

At last, we found the shop and excitedly entered. I was surprised to see no crowd at that time when we arrived (About 4pm?) and so it appeared pretty spacious!

Not forgetting the decorations and the wall paintings which I suspect were painted by hands instead of a wallpaper! Really tedious work and a great piece of work well done. :) Thumbs up for Co-owner Peggy (aka blogger @sixpegs) and her partner A for being able to achieve this!

Upon entering the shop, the staff welcomed us with a warm and lively greeting 'Welcome!' and quickly attended to us with the menu. Iced water was served shortly after we're seated :)

Spent quite some time browsing through the menu bc we (especially me) couldn't decide on what to eat. Everything just appealed to me!

R settled for Aglio Olio while I had Ham & Cheese Wrap. We didn't order any drinks as we chose desserts over them!

The well-known-for Mommahero (Tiramisu in a jar - serves 1 greedier person).
About 7-8 flavors of Tiramisu were available, and the staff did not hesitate to let us know the recommended flavors (Milo & Original) and also the can-try flavors (Strawberry and Matcha). We definitely had to settle for the recommended ones and they were really great!

Left: Milo | Right: Original

Boy, can someone tell me how to describe the richness of the tiramisu and how awesome this goodness is?! Both of us just went "mmm really nice", more "mmm" and "omg~".

I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK FOR MOREEEEE!
I gotta bring someone here maybe on a weekly basis from now on HAHAH just kidding.
But I'll definitely be back for the different flavors of Tiramisu, trying out their drinks and of course their main meals!

Traveled down to Town to run a few errands, followed by an impromptu meet-up with B. It was supposed to be just passing him his newly-bought polaroid but he was kind enough to accompany us back on the train ride. We sent R home before we head back to my house!

I believe I've ended February in a very good way - spent time catching up with R over a new cafe and awesome food, travelling here and there, and having my B with me!

To R and my B: Thank you for staying in my life! Love you two <3
