Thursday was an awesome day spent with two groups of very familiar people.

The first group of people are my new cafe-hoppers companion. :) It was quite surprising to know that we've got the same hobby - taking good photos and visiting cafes! Before my exams started, I've planned to start our journey together, and today we finally executed the long-waited plan!

Our one and only destination for the day: Evans Road.

Behind-the-scene. It's always so happening with the cameras all up in the air!

While the guys all had Sir Benedict, I had Smoked Royale. (Just trying to be outstanding y'know)

I felt that this outlet was below standard as compared to the one at Holland Village. The guys rated about 7 on the average for the food and ambiance. My opinion?
1. Service? Mehhh. There wasn't any crowd when we were there. Only 2 tables occupied, but the staff wasn't attentive at all. They didn't refill our drinks that often, unlike Holland Village. It was SO HARD to get their attention. However, they were still friendly enough to say 'Thank you' and attend to us when we needed it!
2. Generosity - they could've given us more dressing and sauce. It wouldn't harm..... right?
3. Ambiance wise, quiet and spacious. Not too bad since we got the window seats, which means better photo-taking of our food!

Verdict: I still love Hatched, but I'll definitely only visit HV's outlet and not come back to Evans Road's!

Next stop: Assembly Coffee
Situated right beside The Wine Company (which was in-between Hatched and AC), it's not hard to be spotted like DUH!

We saved our tummies for this because I wanted to come here so badly. Totally loving the lighting despite the weather; it made all outdoor photos appear so beautiful! I couldn't complain about the weather no matter how humid it was. :)

This cozy cafe just brings warmth to everyone and makes me feel as though I'm at my second home. Its interior design were simple and nice, despite not having a really wide space for much decorations. What made it more perfect was that, apart from having good companions, we spotted........
Mediacorp Actor Tay Ping Hui! Lucky us managed to have a seat near him :)

Strawberry Cheese ($6.50) | Iced Mocha ($5.50) | Lemon Meringue Tart | Apple Crumble Pie (with vanilla ice-cream) | Cafe Mocha ($5?)

Bryan and I had Iced Mocha, while U had his Cafe Mocha. Not sure how similar it'll taste like but I strongly believe they were good!
One thing to note when deciding what to order for your drinks and cakes: make sure the flavors don't clash! One big no-no combination would be any chocolate desserts and any coffee drinks. Although none of us had such combinations, U had his flavors clashed, but Y and I still enjoyed both our desserts and drinks!

We had a little of everything, and it's safe to say they are all pleasing to both eyes and taste buds! We were surprised to see that their items aren't costly as compared to some cafes, with the drinks ranging about less than $7 for even the iced drinks? Furthermore, everything are nett prices which means NO GST, NO SERVICE CHARGE. It's so pocket-friendly!

See how chaotic it can get behind-the-scene? Nah just kidding we did it for fun and exaggeration.

This actor is so humble and friendly, definitely a good artiste. We managed to take a group shot before we left the cafe, and the greedy me took a solo shot with him with my polaroid! Thank you Mr Tay ;)

Not forgetting group shots to complete our cafe-trip for the day! Our 'photographers' were all so friendly I'm so thankful for their help! Before I move on, thank you guys for spending your time with me and helping me satisfy my AC-cravings! Definitely a great bunch of people to hang out with and to cafe-hop with! I can't wait for the next one already, love y'all! :)

Ending my post with funny shots taken with the girlsssss <3 Thank you for spending your night with me! There'll definitely be more to come!
