The Bakery Chef

After seeing so many great shots of the popular Liu Sha and Nutella thick toasts, we headed down to The Bakery Chef with high hopes and excitement. However, our hopes went down very fast.

We arrived at the very small cafe at around 720PM after our dinner, only to know that the thick toasts were actually SOLD OUT 3 hours before our arrival! Not only that, there were limited choices of cakes left on display. Without much choices on the menu, we settled for waffles with soft serve. BUT the soft serve was also sold out! Okay fine, plain waffles with our choice of syrup then.
Our friend wanted to get the Cake Combo (Choice of cake and tea/coffee at $10), BUT (again) got restricted to only the square cakes and not all of the cakes. Whaaaat?
Toasts - Sold out (Sales start at 12PM, usually sold out at 4-5PM)
Soft serves - Sold out
Hot/Iced chocolate - Not available
Cakes - Very small in size, limited AND restricted in choices (P.S The tiramisu didn't taste good either)
Waffles - Not even hot or crispy after 15-minute wait
How bad can that be... We were all very disappointed, especially my boyfriend who had been very excited to get us try the toasts with him. Now we're doubting the quality of the toasts and wondering if it's worth coming back again.
