Ed recommended to eat at Yi Dian Xin (directly translated to One Dim Sum), which was located at a few minutes walk from Kovan MRT! Extremely in love with their signature item - Salted Egg Yolk Custard Pau! It burst right into your mouth and they were generous with the amount of custard in the pau. But that also means your hands may end up messy and dirty as it starts to flow out!
Other items that we ordered were great as well - steamed carrot cake, Shanghai Xiao Long Bao and glutinous rice!
Next stop was supposedly Lola's Cafe but it was closed so we headed to Old Hen just for coffee!
While walking around town, we spotted the newly-opened Pies & Coffee outlet that replaced The Coffee Connoisseur (TCC) at Orchard Centrepoint! Dinner was thus settled there. The ambiance was pretty great with the Christmas lights and decorations just outside the shop. Pie of the month was BBQ Chicken pie and I quite liked it! BUTTT I still prefer Chicken Cheddar.
Last week when I met Ed, he gave me a necklace (that I've been dying to get) as a Christmas gift! On top of that, he gave a small jar of candy from Stickys that day and it's just too cute with those Christmas-related pictures printed on ittt *-* Thank you!
I hope Christmas have been good to every one of you!! December has been a great month to me :) With the 2 weeks break, I managed to catch up with friends almost every now and then, visit new places and eating good food. LIFE SHOULD'VE BEEN THIS AWESOME?!?!
