Hello fellow fransss! I haven't been blogging for quite some time due to work and schooling (which means there's nothing to blog about) and hence the lack of updates. June has been nothing but awesome times spent with the boyfriend. Occassionally, or rather quite often, we'll have dinner together after work and just a short walk-about around town.
However recently I took some time off and had a wonderful date with my boyfriend Ed! I decided to bring him to Boufe Boutique Cafe as promised ever since after I first went and was telling him how pretty the place was!
Not sure if I've mentioned before, but the brunch items were slightly limited and are served only until 3PM. We both decided on the same item since that's the most value-worthy dish -- and we're right! The Egg Florentine has gotta be the most beautiful breakfast ever. Not even exaggerating when I say that Ed was totally awed by the plating!
While both of my poached eggs are pretty well done, one of Ed's poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Chef, please take note! It didn't flow out at all. Such a pity!
Overall, Ed and I were both very satisfied with what we have had at Boufe and definitely did not regret treating him to this meal. Egg Florentine was a super filling dish that made us enter food coma state and so we had to skip the desserts! Thumbs up for both of their Iced Teas which were refreshing, but the lychee one would be better somehow. :)
The reason why we spammed so much photos of me posing around everywhere in town and anywhere beautiful is that, this dress was specially bought for me and surprised by the sweetest boyfriend ever. I casually mentioned that I love the dress bc of its vibrant colors and it was pretty cool that I can wear them 2-way! How functional is that?!
After altering the dress length to fit the petite me, I finally got the chance to wore it out. Instead of getting heels, I chose a simple, glossy flats which somehow elongated my legs in certain point of view (or maybe it's just my own imagination hahah)
Ed knows I'm quite a sucker for museums and exhibitions bc quite a few times I've been bringing him to museums for cool exhibitions. He found this DreamWorks exhibition situated in Art Science Museum! SO STOKED when he told me we're going to see it!!!
I didn't want to upload any photos taken in the exhibition bc I felt that you should personally go there and take a look. $17 for each SG/PR Adult and I think it's pretty worth it, given that it's DreamWorks's production. My fave part would be the panorama screen which shows a short clip of How To Train Your Dragon 2, absolutely an amazing experience!
Hurry go before it ends on 27 Sept 2015!
Art Science Museum is just located outside Marina Bay Sands Shoppes Mall
