x Dining at Millenia Walk x

Hello! Today I'll be sharing with y'all my dining experiences at Millenia Walk. For those who don't know, Danielfooddiary held a giveaway contest about a month ago and the steps were pretty simple: like, share and comment! Who knew I'd be one of the lucky 3 winners to walk away with $50 vouchers to spend at Millenia Walk, and so here I am, spending them!

When I first saw the building of Millenia Walk's, I wasn't even interested to know what they have. It seemed like another commercial building with some furniture shops in it, as seen on TV adverts. Some time later, I somehow managed to convince myself to walk in the mall, and realised that this was totally a mall with hidden gems!

So far, I've tried 3 Inch Sin (try them if you love Chocolate Lava cakes!!), Commune Cafe and Medzs. I thought I'd be able to revisit Medzs as I was crazily missing the Spanish's Paella, but it closed down already. It seemed like it's a hint telling me to try new things at Millenia Walk, so I brought my Plus-1 along with me for a dinner date at TCC!

TCC isn't new to both of us, but their food menu is. In the past I used to have their potato wedges and drinks only, while Ed always have had the idea that it's a cafe focusing on desserts and drinks. Hence, we've never had the chance to try out their main courses until today.

For drinks, I ordered the Nut'o'Range Frappe ($8.80) which wasn't so bad, but I felt that it could've been better with swirls of orange peels replacing the cubed ones instead. Also, blend the ice longer please! The hazelnut taste could be stronger too.

I had the Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Spaghetti ($19) which was quite good, but I wished they could replace the chicken cubes with actual chicken slices. I've no idea what's the rationale behind the use of both chicken cubes and slices when the sliced ones obviously tasted better.

Ed had the Scallop and Baby Crayfish Baked Rice ($18.50) which was good, but he commented that Swensens' Chicken Baked Rice fared better.

As the menu is slightly limited at the outlet here, I'd recommend this place for just drinks, desserts and snacks. Come for the mains if you love seafood, or if you can afford to spend more for your meals!

Up next, we headed to Patisserie G for desserts; we're never too full for that!

[Nouvelle G]

[G Spot]

Although prices are within the range from $8-$9, the cakes are finely made and worth every penny. The popular flavors are G Spot and Nouvelle G so we followed the norm and ordered these top 2 choices!

You can never go wrong with Chocolate - dark, milk, or white. The praline and mousse were soooo good and so was the crunchy base! G Spot was definitely the sex.

On top of that, I also ordered takeaway for my sist and mom as her Mothers' Day gift! Really glad that my family loved and appreciated the fine work of Patisserie G's :)

\ Happy Mothers' Day! /
To all wonderful mamas on Earth, you're the greatest human being ever. I love my mom despite her talking to me while I'm sleeping, and her nagging me to get home early when I'm still out enjoying myself. You wouldn't believe when I told you that she actually told me to cut this cake into 8 pieces so everyone in my family can get to try this small cake that I got especially for her. How generous and loving can she be? When I grow up, I want to be like my mom. This dream of mine will never change.

If you're looking for a quiet place to dine at, do visit Millenia Walk! While a few shops were closed for renovation, you can still find other delicacies in the mall ;)
