I'm so thankful that my babe and I got the same date for dental appointment and ever since that very first time, we kept arranging the same dates. In March, we spent our entire day together! After the dental appointment, we both head to Hyde & Co. - a cafe I've chanced upon on Instagram and have always been wanting to go since it was pretty new.
Like any other cafes, white color was the main theme for its interior design. Everything was kept to its minimal, and there'll definitely be a few stalks of flowers to decorate the tables. The cafe is quite small and the seats were kinda cramped at the end where we were situated at. I didn't quite like it, especially when there are inconsiderate customers who wouldn't push in their freaking chairs (note: they're skinny girls!)

We ordered:
Salted Caramel Popcorn Cake ($7+)
Carbonara ($10+)
Honey Sausage Pasta (Linguine) ($11+)
Iced Chocolate ($5+)
Iced Mocha ($6+)
I'm not sure how much exactly each of the items were, but the total bill mounted up to only $43. For a table of 2 mains, 2 drinks and 1 dessert - which was a good share between 2 - I thought it was a reasonable deal! No GST and Service Charges, super thankful for that.
On top of that, service was good - the boss would check with us to ensure all's good. Food didn't take quite long to arrive, but it could also be that we're just too engrossed in chatting!
If I'd to choose one item to recommend, it'll definitely be the Salted Caramel Popcorn cake! We thought the combination sounded insane, but it was such a good combo! The texture was smooth and not too creamy and sweet. Just the cream frosting and salted caramel tasted good together with the cake, but what makes it pop out more was the popcorn!
We went shopping crazily, especially the babe. It's always comforting to know that there'll be this one good friend who can spend her time listening to rants that don't even concern her, and always getting her unbiased point of views in everything and anything. Love you so much!
